Alstom again relies on SMARTconverter for Metropolis trains

SMART Railway will supply further SMARTconverters of type 127 kVA + 18 kW for Alstom's Metropolis vehicles. This third order for 21 SMARTconverters follows orders for 12 and 16 auxiliary power converters for Santo Domingo Metro vehicles in previous years. Delivery of the repeat order will begin in January 2024.

For more than ten years, SMART Railway has been supplying highly efficient SMARTconverters to the French vehicle manufacturer, which are characterized by high energy savings and low life cycle costs.
