Further SMARTconverter 3 for CAF's Civity Nordic platform

Vehicle manufacturer CAF has again ordered SMARTconverter 3 for Sweden: The Spanish train manufacturer has repeated its order for 50 auxiliary power converters from SMART Railway Technology GmbH for the regional trains of the Civity Nordic platform. The SMARTconverters 3 of type 140 kVA + 20 kW are used for the Swedish operator SJ AB and prove their suitability under challenging weather conditions (-40°C to +40°C). Deliveries of the SMARTconverter 3 will start in 2024.
